Good news for Newark travelers: The runway that’s been under construction since March reopened yesterday, two weeks ahead of schedule. The reduction in the total number of flights in and out of Newark last month means that the disruptions you’ve been hearing about have improved and, with the runway reopening, will continue to improve. That’s not all: - Over Memorial Day weekend, EWR beat LGA and JFK in on-time departures. - In May, United finished number one nationwide in on-time departures. When roots 🤝 route The moment our first flight to Ulaanbaatar landed, we made history as the first U.S. airline with service to Mongolia. But for Digital Technology Associate Project Manager Grace T., it meant a new opportunity to connect with her heritage. Decades ago, Grace’s grandmother moved to the U.S. from Mongolia with her two young daughters, working as a circus performer and making frequent trips back to Asia. (In fact, she became a proud 1K member!) Grace has only had the opportunity to visit Mongolia once as a child – and she's looking forward to returning to reconnect with family, her favorite food and share the place that’s long felt like home with others. #AAPIHeritageMonth
