How to earn miles

MileagePlus® members can earn award miles and Premier® qualifying credits (PQP and PQF) on eligible Thai Airways flights. Add your MileagePlus number to your reservation, and make sure it’s on your boarding pass at check-in.

Award flights and upgrades

You can use miles to book regular award flights on Thai Airways online or by calling our reservations line. There may be service charges depending on the type of ticket, travel dates and your MileagePlus status. You can also use miles to upgrade your ticket with Star Alliance Upgrade Awards. Award tickets cannot be issued at the airport.

Members with Premier status flying on Thai Airways will also get Star Alliance Gold or Silver benefits.
