Lufthansa Express Rail
Lufthansa Express Rail offers 24 routes to and from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), with a transfer guarantee. LH Express also allows you to earn and use MileagePlus miles.
How to book
- Search for your trip on united.com or the United app. Instead of entering an airport as your destination, enter the three-letter code for the LH rail station you want to use.
- Select the flight and train combination that works best for you and book your tickets.
- To book LH Express Rail for just one leg of your journey, select the "multi-stop flight" option in the flight search and enter your route.
- Train service must be booked together with a transatlantic flight segment.

Use your United confirmation or ticket number to check in.
Your United boarding pass serves as your ticket for the train.
You will receive a United boarding pass with seat assignment for the train segment at check in.
You can check in for both your flight and train up to 24 hours before departure.
