TSA PreCheck® allows travelers get through security lines faster within the U.S.

TSA PreCheck benefits include:

  • Children 12 and under can go with their parent or guardian
  • Children 13-17 can go with their parent or guardian if they're on the same booking and have TSA PreCheck on their ticket
  • Keep your shoes, belt, and light jacket on
  • Leave laptops in your bag
  • Use the 3-1-1 rule to figure out what liquids can stay in your bag

This program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and U.S. lawful permanent residents. Recommended for travelers who make at least 3 round trips per year. Memberships are valid for 5 years.

Global Entry

Global Entry allows you to go through customs and immigration faster for international flights.

Global Entry benefits include:

  • No waiting in processing lines
  • Expedited entry benefits in other countries
  • TSA PreCheck eligibility included in membership
  • Memberships are valid for 5 years

U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents and citizens from certain countries are eligible for Global Entry membership.

Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI)

SENTRI is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that helps pre-approved travelers get through customs faster at Southern land border ports by using dedicated lanes.

SENTRI benefits include:

  • Faster vehicle and pedestrian entrance into U.S. from Canada and Mexico
  • TSA PreCheck eligibility included in membership

NEXUS

NEXUS

The NEXUS program allows pre-screened travelers expedited processing when entering the United States and Canada.

NEXUS benefits include:

  • TSA PreCheck eligibility included in membership
  • Access to Global Entry

Mobile Passport Control (MPC)

Mobile Passport Control (MPC)

MPC is a free app that lets travelers fill out their travel info and customs declaration on their phones. It speeds up the entry process into the United States.

  • No preapproval required
  • Available at many airports
  • Families can save time by filling out their travel info on a single device.

One Stop Security (OSS)

One Stop Security (OSS)

OSS lets travelers on flights from the U.S., including Guam and Honolulu, and connecting to other international flights skip additional security screening when arriving at Narita Airport (NRT). They can head straight to their connecting gate.

Difference between TSA PreCheck and Global Entry

TSA PreCheck gets you through security faster when you're flying from U.S. airports. Global Entry helps you get through customs faster when you're coming into the United States from another country.

Global Entry includes TSA PreCheck benefits when members include their 9-digit PASS ID in the Known Traveler Number field in their reservations.

RESERVE

RESERVE

RESERVE is a program that lets you save your spot in the TSA line for free. To make an appointment enter your flight details, group size, and preferred security screening time. Once you arrive at the airport, go to the line at the security checkpoint designated on your RESERVE appointment confirmation and show the agent the QR code.

Travelers using RESERVE will go through standard security screening regardless of TSA PreCheck or CLEAR Plus status.

  • Shorter line
  • No pre-approval required
  • Designated security line
  • Reserve a slot for up to 10 people
  • Flexible time windows
