Visit Delhi

• Tour the Red Fort Complex, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start at the Hall of Private Audience (Diwan-i-Khas) where the walls are inlaid with precious and semi-precious stones, see majestic arches in the Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Amn) and take in the gilded ceiling and exquisitely carved decorations of the Private Palace (Khas Mahal).
• Explore Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Walk through the massive gates and view the impressive architecture. As prayer hour draws close, stay near the mosque — tourists aren’t allowed during prayer hour — and listen to the muezzins calling the faithful to prayer.

• Spend time at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS), one of India’s premier history and art museums. Discover the country’s diverse wildlife at the Natural History Gallery, then go to the Textiles Gallery to view brilliantly-colored silks and tapestries. Stop by the Sculptures Gallery and take in the intricate stone carvings.
