How it works

  1. You book your trip with United Airlines, including the ground transportation segment operated by The Landline Company.
  2. When booking, the itinerary will indicate that the connection to or from the hub is operated by The Landline Company.
  3. You check in for your trip 24 hours before your shuttle departure, just as you would for a United Airlines flight.
  4. On the day of travel, you arrive at your regional airport, where you can check your bags. For Landline departures, please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your departure time. The checked bag cut-off is 15 minutes before departure.
  5. You then board the Landline shuttle bus, where you’ll have an assigned seat.
  6. The Landline Company will handle your bags, loading them onto the bus and then transferring them to your final flight destination.

This service is designed to make connections between regional locations and major airports more seamless for passengers, allowing them to check their bags through to their final destination and enjoy a consistent travel experience.
